First Kiyomi, now The Knife Song + Knife Game

Let's face it, after a week of KIYOMI this and KIYOMI THAT,

I thought the people of the internet wouldn't turn to anything stupid-er than that.
And I was so so so so so so very wrong.

Here's the next stupid thing that would entertain us internet folks
for another week! YAY!

Ladies and gentlemen, 
this, is The Knife game a.k.a the 5 Finger Fillet!
It comes with a neat knife song too.

Originating from a polish movie in 1962
and also the classic 1986 Aliens Movie,
the 5 finger fillet isn't actually THAT new.
Ray William Johnson also found one of these
kinda videos which was one of it's kind a weeks months back
made by a girl. yes. A girl.

Anyhoo, here's the video.
Although disturbing yet extremely entertaining,
you couldn't watch this video without clenching your teeth! 
It's a pity some people would reach out to

Google and Apple, Say Hello To The Facebook Phone & Facebook Home

Ladies and gentlemen!

The Facebook phone and it's facebook OS are coming !

Built and tweaked on android, Facebook has now found a way to have it's very own operating system and boy does it look 

super impressive! And the phone?

Coming in 4 colors, namely

Black, Red, White and Light Blue,

Facebook partnered with HTC and

we would be having a new addition to th HTC family

called the HTC FIRST

if you've already got an android phone, you wouldn't need an 

HTC First in order to get the full Facebook Home experience.

My Fave Companies. Assignment due 2 weeks. (insert sad face here)

Here I am, 19 years old and studying English as one of my core subjects in my university.

If you're not from my university course, trust me,

this blog post will make NO SENSE to you at all!

But if you wanna read on, who's stopping you !

With a paper due on the 29th of April,

yes, i know, it may be too early to start thinking about it,

but is everyone going to research on those mainstream

successful companies like Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Apple Inc, Samsung, Disney, Nokia or Google?

THAT'S WOULD BE JUST LAME

C'MON WE can do better!

Gwiyomi/Kiyomi! Say what??

If you're reading this, congratulations for making it through

weird internet trends like Shuffling, Gangnam Style and Harlem Shake ! Wanna know what the best part is? 

The internet never sleeps so guess what!!

Something new (to me at least) has been surfacing Facebook

and it originates from the country that brought us Gangnam style!

Unsure of what it is exactly, I did a little research around the internet. And by internet I meant Youtube and Wikipedia hahahah.

HOWEVER, wiki had nothing so i had to go to random blogs and articles and had the liberty to gather all the useless information in one place! HERE ! 

To all you kpop fans out there, you might definitely be familiar with this because you might have seen kpop stars like super junior, snsd or exo doing it up on stage.

SO first off, if you still have no idea what GWIYOMI/KIYOMI is yet, take a look at this:

As a non kpop fan with no knowledge of the korean language whatsoever, first thing that comes to mind when you watch the video is this :

Cute Gibberish > gibberish > gibberish > Hand gesture.

Then they move on to 

1+1= Gwiyomi

2+2= Gwiyomi

And so on and so forth till they reach 6 then they start

kissing all their fingers.

SO WHAT EXACTLY WAS THAT ??

Well you cant find any GWIYOMI word in the korean language or dictionary, WHY ? well thats because the original word is

귀염둥이(pronounced as Gwi-yum-doong-i)

Then it was stolen as a korean internet slang as Gwiyomi/kiyomi so that it sounds cuter, which was referred to as "a cute one"

Being a guy, I hate to admit it but it IS kinda 
adorable awesome cool cute hahahaha.

Well I hope this isn't gonna be one of em' internet trends that'll
get stuck in my head again. I had enough of gangnam style
and also that miserable excuse for an internet trend called harlem shake.

So next time you and your friends talk about trending stuff 
and come across gwiyomi, you'll know how to respond!

Have Some Fun With Your Facebook Cover and Profile Picture

Tired of your boring ol facebook cover or profile picture?

I know I am, and that's why I did something about it !

After having seen all those 9gag posts and random pictures 

of self proclaimed "awesome" facebook covers and profile pictures,

I've finally sat down and had the time to edit my own pictures.

Here's how it looks like after editing :

I know this isn't something new,

it has probably been around since Facebook covers were announced! But hey!! Who would ever get tired of randomly

interesting pictures! I know I won't!

If you had the time, I would highly recommend you spending a little time on this small project because who am I kidding,

these kinda Facebook profile picture and cover photo combos

really does give off major WOW factor.

If you would like to further personalize your Facebook wall and create something similar to this, here are some picture resolutions

of which you might find handy:

Also, if you would wanna create a profile picture with an

edited background, I recommend you search online for any 

available picture editing software.

To be honest, making these kind of covers and profile pictures aren't that hard. I didn't use Photoshop so it did actually

take me a teeny bit more time because I had to do some trial

and error when it came to matching the profile picture to the cover.

In the end, all the time used for editing really paid off and I'm pretty sure that if you had the time, you could make one too !

So before I go off, here are the templates for both your cover and profile pictures just to save you some time.

A sad international breakfast day at Mcdonalds :[

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL BREAKFAST DAY TO YOU!!

but... not for me, because I had a disappointing one :[

Well you see, after going to Taylor's Uni for an important meeting,

I decided to buy myself McDonalds breakfast as a reward for being able to wake up at 6 in the morning 

after failing to fall asleep early last night. 

Plus it IS INTERNATIONAL BREAKFAST DAY 

so why not !

(I slept at 3.30a.m and woke up at 6.00a.m , DAYUM)

I went past drive thru at 10.50, 

(still in time for the b'fast menu)

ordered my SAUSAGE MCMUFFIN WITH EGG,

(why the strikethrough? you'll know why later)

got back home, settled down, sat down at my fave dining spot,

and unwrapped my burger.

AND GUESS WHAT  HAPPENED NEXT!

to my surprise my sausage mcmuffin with egg 

had no sausage in it !

AND YES I TAKE MY BRUNCH VERY SERIOUSLY

Here's proof!

Now my burger is now a 

sausageless mcmuffin with egg.

Or why not just call it egg mcmuffin.

OH WAIT EGG MCMUFFIN includes a slice of HAM

TOO, ARGHHHH! NO FAIR!

WHY Mcdonalds! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS!

WAY TO GO MCD ! You ruined my international breakfast day!

I'll never drive thru for breakfast EVER :[

If it's lunch/dinner I may still consider hahahahah.

Sigh... I am now sad and still hungry.

Is Crushing Virtual Candy Worth The Wait? Just Cheat Your Way Through!

(This post goes out to all you hardcore candy crush players)

First off, yes I know I might be kinda slow when

it comes to the latest trends. At first I thought it was just another

lame match-3 game like Bejeweled Blitz 

and I knew everyone was playing it. 

Aaaand just yesterday, the hypocritical side of me

downloaded the game and I ended up playing it in my seat

for about an hour or so.

(If you're looking for a cheat to the game i reckon you

 Candy Crush Saga is a relatively new game by king.com.

Just like bejeweled blitz, this game is the same generic match-3 game where you match 3 of the same colored gems to score.

Unlike Bejeweled blitz with it's annoying timer, Candy Crush let's you take your own sweet time to match the gems (candy), but the catch is that it only gives you a certain amount of moves you could take to swap the gems around.

This trending freemium game has unsurprisingly topped 

the Free App Chart in the Apple Appstore and also

the Google Play Top Grossing App Chart as #1 .
Sigh, we people sure are suckers for freemium games aren't we?
First Temple Run, Bejewled Blitz, 4 pics 1 word and now
THIS.

Anywho, the main purpose for writing this blog post
is because I'm extremely annoyed by how you have to use
a "heart" in order to play a level. It's just like an arcade game where you have to insert a coin to play. If you lose, you'll have to  
insert another coin to continue playing,
and same goes to CANDY CRUSH.

I am those kinda people who hates sending other people
gift requests but I do it anyway. A shame isn't it.
Well now, instead of going out there on facebook begging for hearts, or even WAITING for a heart to regenerate 
every 15-30 minutes,
I have finally came up with a solution!
(not sure if you know about this already though)
THE BEST PART IS
 no jail break, root or computer required.

It's simple really,
All you need are TWO devices. Doesn't matter if it runs on iOS or Android, as long as you sync it with 
Facebook, you can cheat your way through the game!
*cue applause*

 BUT if you're that kinda person who doesn't mind screwing up the entire game programme (although still playable), then only one
device would be okay. But I'll get on to that later.

Now all you need to do is change the time.
Because every heart regenerates every 15-30 minutes with a max generation limit of 5 hearts, 
All you have to do is play god, turn off auto time set, and speed up the clock on our device by 2 hours.


BUT TAKE NOTE!! DO THAT TO ONLY ONE DEVICE BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE TWEAKED THE TIME FORWARD
and then choose to set the clock back to it's accurate and original time, your game might turn out like this:

The game might go a little haywire with the countdown
because as you can see my countdown timer is now
14890 minutes.

As I said earlier, if you use another device to log into your game
via Facebook, your countdown timer will revert back to normal,
like this:
